This small vase features Round-Leaf Mallee from the Larapinta Trail in Central Australia.
The round-bodied pot is coil-built in sandy clay, painted with multiple shades of underglaze and carved to create the botanical design. It is glazed inside and on the leaves and flowers only, leaving the textured clay background bare.
