This medium vase features Swamp Banksia (Banksia dentata) from the Jatbula Trail in the Northern Territory.
The tall, narrow pot is coil-built in grain dark clay, painted with multiple shades of underglaze and slips and carved to create the botanical design. It is glazed inside and on the leaves and flowers only, leaving the textured clay background bare.
