Little Eucalyptus - Snow Gum
This small vase features Snow Gum (Eucalyptus paucifolia), the iconic eucalyptus of the Australian Alps which is also indigenous to my local area of Melbourne.
The vase is coil-built in white clay and painted with multiple shades of underglaze, with botanical detail carved into the design.
It is glazed inside and on the plants, leaving the white clay background bare.
