Indigo Scented Paperbark
This small vase features Scented Paperbark (Melaleuca squarrosa), which is native to my local area of Melbourne.
The vase is coil-built in white clay, painted with indigo underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. It is clear glazed on the inside. The outside is unglazed and matte, with a slight sheen on the indigo design.
