Each of my handbuilt cups is a one-off creation, built slowly with love and care. Featuring my favourite plants, these are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day.
The cups are lovely to hold and suitable for hot and cold drinks, desserts or storing trinkets. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
This cup is coil-built from grainy white clay and has a low carved foot ring. The surface is painted with layers of underglaze, carved to create the Pincushion Hakea design, and clear glazed on the outside. The inside has a green and stony grey satin glaze.
