This small vase features Leatherwood from the Overland Track in Tasmania.
The gourd-shaped pot is coil-built in grainy white clay, painted with multiple shades of underglaze and carved to create the botanical design. It is clear glazed inside and on the leaves and flowers only, leaving the textured clay background bare.
