Indigo Cups - Australian Indigo
Each of my handbuilt cups is a one-off creation, built slowly with love and care. Featuring my favourite plants, these are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day.
The cups are lovely to hold and suitable for hot and cold drinks, desserts, storing trinkets or holding flowers. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
The Australian Indigo cups are inspired by Indigofera australis, which grows in my local area. Each cup is pinched from smooth white clay. The surface is painted with indigo underglaze and carved to create the botanical design. The inside is clear glazed, while the outside is unglazed and matte.
