Pincushion Hakea Bowl
This small, deep bowl features Pincushion Hakea from Western Australia.
The bowl is coil-built in white clay, painted with multiple shades of underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. The inside of the bowl features a satin turquoise glaze.
The bowl can be used for decorative or functional purposes. It is food safe and dishwasher safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time. It is the size of a small noodle bowl — my favourite size and shape for an individual meal.
