Blue Banksia Cup
Each of my handbuilt cups is a one-off creation. Featuring my favourite plants, these are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day.
The cups are suitable for hot and cold drinks, trinkets or flowers. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
The Blue Banksia cup is made from white clay, painted with multiple shades of underglaze, and carved to create the botanical design. The cup is satin-glazed on the plant only, leaving the background bare and matte. The inside of the cup has an aqua-green satin glaze.
