Alpine Wildflower Cups
Each of my handbuilt cups is a one-off creation, built slowly with love and care. Featuring my favourite plants, these are little pieces of original ceramic art that can be used every day.
The cups are lovely to hold and suitable for hot and cold drinks, desserts, trinkets or flowers. They are food-safe, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe, although handwashing is recommended to preserve the surface over time.
The Alpine Wildflower cups feature a variety of plants — Billy Buttons, Daisies, Trigger Plants and Acacia — inspired by a recent summer hike in the Victorian High Country. Each cup is pinched from smooth white clay. The surface is painted with multiple shades of underglaze and carved to create the silhouetted botanical design. The cups are clear glazed on the inside and outside.
